Shawnia Kummelman

Client Relations Manager

Mrs. Kummelman began her career with Tampa Electric Company where she spent 10 years working in both the Plant City and Tampa offices.  While working in the Plant City office Mrs. Kummelman interacted closely with the Plant City residents resolving customer issues.  Later she honed her process and organization skills in the Customer Information and Accounting departments at the main TECO office.  There she tested changes, updates and new programs in the Customer Service Database before system implementation.

Following her 10 years at TECO, Mrs. Kummelman shifted her focus to starting a family.  Mrs. Kummelman and her husband Mark, of 20 years have one child; Savannah, 18 and both parents are actively involved with Savannah.  The family stays busy on the golf course where Savannah has played four years of Varsity golf for Plant City High School and is now moving on the play collegiate golf for Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC.  Mrs. Kummelman has also volunteered her time at the schools where Savannah has attended.  She has served on the PTA boards as Vice President and Treasurer, Student Advisory Council, various committees and has served the last three years as Team Mom for the high school golf team.  In their “spare time” the Kummelmans enjoy traveling, fishing and the beach.

Mrs. Kummelman is a 5th generation Plant City native and Plant City resident.
